Conversational Agents and Virtual Humans

BotShow 2002 is the European Conference dedicated to a revolutionary new interface: conversational agents (chatterbots). A conversational agent is an intelligent robot, which is an autonomous, evolutionary and mobile computer program, that provides the user with an intelligent user friendly interface presented in the form of a talking head and functioning dialog: the user makes a request and the chatterbot answers.
For the last several months, such virtual creatures have multiplied on the Anglo-Saxon electronic trade websites. Experts foresee the realization of virtual humans as multitasking interfaces for websites and mobile portals. Clients say that chatterbots, if programmed correctly, can dramatically increase the rate of transformation and reduce CRM costs.
BotShow 2002 will clarify the typology of chatterbots according to their functions, graphics, editorial and artificial intelligence components, as well as the principal benefits related to their various applications.
The conference will be the convergence and meeting point for many Internet, mobile business, marketing, and communication professionals.
